Gazdálkodás faces the next 50 years

Entering its 51st year, Gazdálkodás seeks to serve with exacting scientific standards the development of agriculture and agricultural experts in the coming decades, which promise to be no less turbulent and unpredictable than the past 50 years. The existence of the EU and the fact of our membership will not make for untroubled times. Just like Hungary, the EU is also faced with finding answers to many problems: climate change, sustainability, globalisation, a paradigm shift in agricultural and regional politics, efficacy, competitiveness and the “challenges” of the information age. The teachers, researchers and experts of Hungary’s agricultural sector need to focus, at the start of these next 50 years, on responding to these issues.
