Our investigations have shown that profitability of the section can be significantly improved by the full exploitation of all sources of support. As we are dealing with stock breeding, significant revenue could be realised from marketing stock animals. However, because of the poor financial situation of the sheep section, breeders are unable to acquire the stock rams needed to drastically increase the number of lambs for marketing.
