Cooperatives in Scandinavian countries

With respect to the future of cooperatives, the agricultural policies of the European Union lay out the course of development, which is directed at realizing agricultural and regional policies, the development of small and medium sized enterprises as well as realizing employment and social policies. Cooperatives are also required in a fully developed market economy, because they can help to realize agricultural policies with success and they can compete effectively with large multinational companies.
