Cooperation in the Mátra Wine Region

The database established at Károly Róbert Agricultural Sciences University, a centre for the Northern Hungarian Region, can serve the technological and economical development of vineyards and the wine producing industry of the Mátra region and the operation of an advisory network.

We outlined the tasks that need to be accomplished to improve the circumstances and competitiveness of farmers in the vine-growing and wine-making verticum. We discussed the latest trends in co-operation, development and updating technology.

Enlargement of factories, integration (machinery, cellar co-operatives) and updating the technology used are very important with respect to quality, implementation of machinery development and increased competitiveness.
