Challenges and opportunities in the manufacture of animal products

Future challenges in making animal products in the forthcoming decades of 2000-2020/2030 are complex involving primarily plant production and any opportunities to be seized arise mostly in this area of activities. The challenges include a growing population, increasing living standards, requirements of bio-energy production, spread of bio-packaging materials, decline of water resources suitable for irrigation as well as numerous risk factors due to climate change. It is these problems we are aiming to solve.
