Financing arrangements in the trade between Hungary and Russia

The paper presents export financing arrangements which could make Hungarian exporters more successful in the Russian market if used more actively. My own experience of many years – both as a bank financer and a practising exporter – proves that the Russia market can accommodate Hungarian goods and services, and they could gain a much bigger share of the market if the existing and accessible financial tools were used more effectively. Russia is trying to find it own place in the world. It is implementing ambitious plans in certain fields to close the gap it still has in terms of infrastructure. This offers great opportunities for the agricultural, healthcare and construction industries.
