The Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture established a system as effective as possible to assist members in enforcing their rights and interests. The procedures available under the system are alternative solutions, compared to the normal - typically - court proceedings. It is worth noting that in practice, these services are rarely used. There are most probably two reasons for this: on the one hand, the members of the HCA are unaware of the many opportunities available to them, which are in many cases provided for free, on the other hand, these are procedures that appear as alternative procedures beside the procedures of state justice, typically civil litigation.
The expert approach of the HCA to the cases brought before them must be emphasized: it seeks to guarantee the best solution within the framework of its services, assisting members in the enforcement of their rights. Working together with members whose rights and interests had been violated, the HCA tries to resolve the problem through prior consultation and negotiation and, depending on the nature and gravity of the problem concerned, it offers members a range of its service.
